I had an idea that I think would be good to put into development. Socketed weapons. It would be the same as sockets in armor so you could have 1-4 sockets and put various skill attachments in them. If we can loot weapons with skill mods, why not be able to put mods in our own weapons. Just a though.

I like this idea. Looted weapons drop that have skill mods (and the Featherweight starts with skill mods too), so it's not like some kind of precedent hasn't been set yet. And it would allow smiths to further distinguish their weapons. Imagine making a nice weapon out of krayt tissues, form-fitting stocks, maybe some other exceptional/legendary looted components, and then top it all off by putting some skill mods on it to make a weapon that's about as close to a looted exceptional/legendary weapon as we'll ever be able to get.

I like the idea but the clothing and armor attachments are already bugged and if this is done i think that things might just get worse.

I think it just means that it's better than the white lettered ones pretty much
