Thread: Three questions from a newer WS

1. As a new mayor as well , what is the most benefical city specialization for a crafter ?
2. Is the WS crafters bandiolier worth the money I will need to spend. I ran myself almost broke getting to master. Im not a Sales heavy smith, mostly crafting for a guild. Does it make a difference to my final product?
3. What is considered good conductivity for Iron? Any ideas where it tops out from past spawns ?

1) I like cities that have the Research Center specialization. The research bonus doesn't give you extra experimentation points, but it does help to decrease the liklihood of moderate/good successes.
2) Imo, the WS toolkit is almost worthless. For one, it takes up the backpack slot instead of the belt slot. If you're like me, you're backpack is already full and you won't have anywhere to put it when you use the toolkit. Also, it only gives a +3 experimentation bonus (other crafting professions get +5 experimentation for their toolkits).
3) I'm not sure where conductivity for iron tops out. I suppose it depends on which type of iron you're using (Plumbum Iron, for example, has a very low conductivity cap). However, I don't think I've ever seen an iron that exceeded 600 conductivity. You can use the Find Resource function at SWGCraft.com to compare historical iron spawns for your server.

A: Yes, you will get better assemble and exp points (If you max them out, which every top WS does)
3. What is considered good conductivity for Iron? Any ideas where it tops out from past spawns ?
A: Best I have atm (And I have been gathering for a year now) is 446 CD Kammris

This needs to be tested again, because it just does not make any difference for me.

Kammris Iron (Carbosacotic) - 451 Conductivity
I've got about 300k of it.

Iron Con depends a lot of type. If type is of nospecificnameyou will usually be looking for CON-OA instead of just the CON.
Some has risen here and there.
Doonium --> Edeaswik 454, Dimakoic 455, and Ianoh 454
Mostly the Kammris is fairest (for iron) Eepehesis 456, Nipi 466, Baide 470, and Eiavi 498.
Best of the lot above would be Not on list, heh heh. It would be Ikeam with CON-OA of 1422. But it only has aCON of 436.
Eiavi (on list) also was nice and should still be around in the vendors with CON-OA of 1404. It spawned around May.
