Thread: Q: Krayt Tissues vs. Krayt Species (?)

Tissue stats are random across all types.
Juvys have the same chance to drop high end tissue as all others.
The legendary tissues i purchased came from a juvy
as did the 104, 160, 90s,and 119s i looted
the 199s I looted came off a canyon
Pearls of corse are different and Anciants have a chance to drop other Exceptional items as well.
However 100+ tissue is fairly rare as you can see i can only think of 5 sets i looted and i have killed hundreds or dragons

Pretty much all I do with one of my toons is hunt juvy'sfor tissues to make my other toon great weapons/credits. Finally got my first 100+ tissues, set of 10 102 damage and .864 speed.
Also got set of 9 with 1.2 something speed.
For tissues, stick to juvy's, ignore all else.

Is there a good area to find Juvi Krayts or is it all random? Thanks in advance!

It's nice to know that despite the rarity of excellent tissues, I haven't completely wasted my time on juvies. Thanks a ton for the info, ya'll. (Oh, God, I actually said ya'll.)

Just to confirm what the others have said. If no one is on at the time, I use my rifeman solowith a dxr and just kill juvies. I have only gotten 2 sets over 100 damage, butI have gotten many in the 90+ range, and plenty with -1+ on speed. I only worry about the big ones with my usual hunting team. Oh and those scales you can give to your local AS to make you some nice Comp armor to replace the set you just toasted hunting solo as a rifleman.

Alright, yes, I'm a noob MWS, and yes, I've read from one source that krayt tissue drops are entirely random regardless of krayt species. However, I've been killing krayts for three (3) full days now, totalling overtwenty-five (25)hours of gameplay in search of 100+ Dammage tissues... with no success. The best I've looted have been around +60. God only knows how many pearls, scales, and comp armor segments I've looted... and yes, I've accumulated MANY +30 tissues, so it's not the actual loot drop ratio I'm concerned with here, it's the loot drop of superb Krayt tissues, which elude me. 
I've been killing juveniles, primarily, because they go down quickly and consistently drop loot, but does loot excellence in Krayt tissues directly correspond to the difficulty level of the dragon in your opinion? Is excellent tissue loot drops entirely random regardless of species? Or am I perhaps just suffering from absolutely miserable luck. Please help. Thanks.

scales and segs are trash. dont waste the inventory space unless the seg has more than +37-40 base
scales unless it has +10 or greater to Kinetic
on where to hunt the graveyard doesnt seem to spawn as many canyons and juvies anymore (although i rarely see anciants anywhere else). When i am hunting i am usualy in he area around 1-2k north west of whatever that small shuttle less city is north of jabbas
tons of canyon-juvy pairs and giants in that area
