Thread: Question about Advanced Vibro Blade Units

OK sorry if I'm being a n0blet here but I have not found an answer in the stickies or previous posts.

Ok Advanced Vibro Blade Units, the schematic for these has a slot for an "enhancement". What kind of enhancement can be used in that slot? And, don't tell me about the Vibro Motors looted from Nym mobs. Those replace and work in the place of the Advanced Vibro Unit and cannot be put into the slot I'm talking about(I assume the NS Vibro Motors do the same but I don't have one to test). Is there any enhancments available to put in this slot or is it one of those things which serve no purpose?

Maybe I'm confused about something but the only info I found in the stickies and previous posts talk about the looted motors from Nyms and Nightsisters.

You can loot from Nym´s Mob:

3 diffrent Vibroblade ENHANCEMENTS called High Powered or something!!!!!!!

1st give 20 and up MORE Damage...
2nd give 200 more Unit Integrity...
and finally
3rd a + on Wounds....

And YES thats NYM´S Loots

NS-Vibroblade are somrtime better then your own crfted ones...sometimes...

Ok I see my mistake. I was confusing the Liteweight Motors from the Jabba's Theme park with the "enhancements" from the Nym mobs. That explains my noobness Thanks!

OK any recomendations where to look for Nym mobs to try and loot these?

Also Finely Tuned Vibro Motor enhancement with -0.2 speed base that drop off of goons on Rori.

High powered motors affect the damage output, I have used motors that do 20 to 28 increase

Heavy Duty the durability by 200

Finely Tuned the Speed (which is capped for masters but it might be good for people grinding tka)



I think there is a 4th category of which I can not remember thename but it affects the wound %.

"High Powered Vibro Motor"


Looted from Nyms and the punk arses that camp the Nyms starport and the Stronghold.


Spend an hour or two running around the city killing anything that moves and I'm positve you'll gather a few goodies.


Stats range from the base +20 max dmg and I've seen +33max. I''m sure they can even be higher. They also loot in sequence up to 4 on a normal basis. There's also High Powerd Capacitors that incres the power handlers by +20 base+.

Nyms droideka's seem to have the best chance, they are found in wild spawns or in missions, destroy nym's camp missions that is.
