Is the Myyydril Weaponsmithquest broken?

I did it. All I got was 6k. No schem, nothing. Is this normal?

I thought he gives the schem at the beginning of the quest. Is it only a limited use schematic?

the schematic is supposed to change once you finish the quesst . to require swordcores and resources alongside the 3 crystals. Making weapons with the updated schems should create usable knives. However some of us (myself included) never recieved the update of the schematic, even thou we completed the quest. Devs have told us to wait and be patient.

I received the new crystal knifeschematic, butI expected an additional schem or something. It never occured to me that all I'd get for such an involved quest was a glorified Janta knife and 6000 credits.

Assumed it was bugged.

What are the stats on the new knife? Is it worth it? If its still nothing but decoration I might as well not finish the quest and make crafting the knives easier on myself.

It has like 30 max damage and about 5 or 6 base DPS

It looks cool though

At least that is the one you make during the quest. If the schem you have is supposed to be updated then it could be somewhat usable based on how it gets updated.

So I guess the bug would be not getting the updated schem for finishing.

I just did it on the Corbantis server today, and the schematic didn't update for me either. So therefore I didn't even get a schematic, once I made the knives, poof went the schematic.

Can the crystals you find be used in any other weapons? Maybe a LS?
