Thread: Problem? Bug? Exceeded Weapon limits?

So I looted 9 weapon scopes. Acc bonus of 22, speed -.46. Had them put onto a laser rifle which turned out being very nice. Accuracy bonus of 24. Like 360ish base DPS (574 modified). But when I attack with it I hit for 0 damage.
I had other rifles amde in the same order, some which I didnt use the scopes on. THey only have an accuracy bonus of 17 and I attack fine with them.
Can stats of a weapon be exceeded by using very good components/tissues? If so whats cap on dmg/speed/acc on a laser rifle. And what can I do to use my UBER weapons.

Ticket it - this sounds like a bug.

as tested just recently one TC - no you can not exceed a level damage cap. Added +115 tissue to a dlt20a it increased damage by6 over the uber materials used and then was attempted to be slice... it sliced for 0%

i ticketed it, no response in over 2 days. and all of the weapons that i put the scopes on (acc bonus 24) hit for 0 dmg. im depressed

I have to ask...
What is the current and maximum condition?
Also, /bug it and ALSO file a CSR ticket asking for assistence. If the CSRs respond with a generic reply write down the ticket # and resubmit another CSR ticker referencing the first one. This will almost gaurentee an in game CSR to contact you to see if they can actually help.
360 base dps seems beyond normal crafting limits for what I've been able to do. Does this include a PuP?

I'm curious, is the base damage type still Energy or is it one of the non-existant damage types?
There was a bug in cu-beta where weapons were coming out with blast/stun/etc. for base damage types, the weapon would do 0 damage like what your reporting.
In beta I found that adding a stock would change a weapons base damage type to blast, this may be a component (looted scopes) that they missed fixing.
