Thread: Guide to Nak'tra Crystal Knife schematic

In the Dead forest on Kahykk (POI) there is a dungeon in the upper left corner named the Myyydril Caverns.
Here you will find a wookiee village (hold left from the entrance to get down there) In the village a Weaponsmith named Treesh will grant you the schematic for the Nak'tra Knife
At the same time he'll ask you to make him 5 of these daggers.
To complete the quest you need to collect 15 nak'tra Crystals and craft the 5 knives. The crystals can be looted from the Urnsor'is which is some beattle llookalike creatures below the the underground wookiee village.
Completing the quest will grant you 6k credits and nothing else and Treesh doesnt give out more quests after this first one so completing the quest seems to be void. ****
Note It seems that after finishing the quest the schematic changes to this and you are able to experiment on the dagger to make it a bit more usefull (thanks to Flashdog for providing the links)

wow. combat level 40 and only 30 max dmg? LOL not worth the gas to get to kaskyyyk heh. it is cool looking i guess.

Quick add-on. These crystals don't drop terribly often so the quest might take you quite a while. I've killed about 40 of these things and have received 2 crystals. Oh, btw they are Level 75 Mob's

yes sry I was a bit in a hurry when making this post.
I might add that the schematic takes 3 crystals and nothing else. Also the knife in the SS wasnt experimented on and I dont know if its possible as I didnt have my crafting droid with me nd because I assumed Treesh would take the weapons when I completed (which he didnt)
Collecting the crystals took me about 5-6 hours (thou its all dependant on luck I guess) and as stated in the post above granted a reward of measely 6k credits.
But as stated in the post collecting all 5 knives aint necessary as the schemtic is allready given to you when you speak to Treesh the first time.

Geez, its a good thing I'm a CL54 WS, otherwise the cyrstals would be hard to get...

Surely those stats are a mistake? 3.0 speed and 5-30 damage for a level 40 weapon? Why did they even bother making a weapon nobody would use?

I sure hope these crystals are used for something decent :/ that or it unlocks some other quest

I just started this quest , now i am sadly disappointed...here i thought i may get a cool weapon schem. 6k?! too. okay having a couple of these around may be nifty, but the time involved doesn't really equal the reward. gah :/

Oh the 5 knifes you craft to complete your quest stay with you after you complete the quest. I handed them out to people for house decorations.
