Thread: Should I even bother looking for a better pistol?
I thought you guys would be the best people to ask. I am currently using a sliced FWG5 that does 74-204 with a 2.4 speed. I don't have hundreds of thousands of credits laying around to buy any of these super uber weapons. But I was wondering if I could expect to find an upgrade for 25k? Could you slice a DX2 to stats that would make it worth the upgrade?

Since the nerf I haven't seen an fwg5 unsliced get over 175 max damage on Flurry server. Doesn't mean they done exist. I haven't seen any and I spend hours shopping around compareing prices so I have a rough average to go buy to sell my weapons.
Projectile feed enhancements will put the max closer to 200 but that is about it.
I do not know about the stats of FWG5's on your server but on eclipse I sell FWG5's with 175 max damage and lower speed then your for 8K each.. with a 35% damage slice it should end up 235 max damage.
check out a few master weaponsmith's stores and I am sure you get a good idea what stats your server has on FWG5's

These would be horrible on any of the old servers, but Chimaera and the other European servers haven't had enough time to spawn decent materials yet. In the next month or two, you'll be seeing much, much better weapons as the crafters get better resources.

Im on the chimera server and im aPistoleer i dont havehundreds of thousands of credits to spend but In time like all I hope to have.
Im looking for an uber pistol.
At the moment I have some nice guns but I know some true Master Weaponsmith out there can improve on these.
FWG5:60-168 1.8 speed (sliced)
Scout Blaster:51-111 1.5 speed (sliced)
Dx2:98-170 2.7 speed (sliced)
Republic Blaster:57-188 2.1 speed (sliced)
Im more intrested in power than speed but a balance would be nice.
If Anyone can improve greatly on thesepistols send me a/tell or email the names Nova.

Ive heard alot of people talking about Krayt Pistol in these forums with attack of min200 max400 speed 1.2
Ive never seen anything like these on Chimera,and im not sure if they even exist,but thats what im really after.
Amim wasting my time looking for something that dosent exist or that i cant possiblyafford.

not with your qualifier of 'not having hundred of thousands of credits' you wont. Since the 400k ham krayt dragon revamp and the lack of imperials loot farming w/ at-st ... even the +30 tissues are auctioning at 500k for just ONE tissue on chilastra. I saw someone spamming a post-nerf krayt sliced scatter pistol that was just 236 max damage and around 1.9 speed for 2million.

Carl, on Ahazi right now the 'new' standard FWG5 with the best new iron spawn is 2.1 with 172/ or 174 max damage. You can get these for prices varying from 7-15K (I'm sure there are some that are higher, mine are priced at 13K). Any reasonable damage slice will get you a weapon that's better than what you're using now.
