"where would i find 2000 quality stuff"

Like mineral resources, the quality of harvested resources is specific to your server and changes on a regular basis...

  • So will you have to supply a server name for us to help you locate the best stuff.

"do you have to be master ranger"

Nope, if you can killthe creature(or get a group member to kill it for you), you can harvest the resources.

then onceit hits 900oq i charge every 10oq

so 999oq would cost 20cpu

I explain the pricing scheme I use on my website, at the bottom of the About Mehtee's Organics page (the page it loads with). Credit for this scheme belongs to Volsted though. This is on the Tempest server.

Different WS have different techniques, but I think the best is to find out what other MWS are charging for their weapons, and then price yours accordingly. If your weapons are a little better than most other MWS on your server, then charge a little more; if not quite as good, then charge a little less.

OtherWS set a price they think is fair, then adjust the price depending on how fast a product sells. If something sells out quickly, raise the price a little. If it continues to sell quickly, raise the price again, etc. If it doesn't sell so well, then lower the price a little, until the item moves at a rate you're happy with.

I usually go the route of 4-6k per powerhandler used and then add in a fudge factor for the extra metals.

4k for a regular powerhandler and 6k for an adv one. This should give you a base price, from here, look at other KNOWN weaponsmiths and adjust your price on comparison of CONDITION, MIN, MAX and speed.

My favorite are the holo crafters who sell crappy condition mws weapons for 4 or 5k just to clear inventory. Don't even bother with these people. Just keep competitive against the known mws, cause all the holo grinders come and go and it's impossible to compete against them. Most lack basic buisness common sense.

Magic formulas are all well and good but nothing IMHO beat good ol market resaerch and some leg work!

By know you should know who the best WS on your server is (or at least one of them if you havefew) so go visit there shop, write down the prices of there weapons that they ahve listed etc and there you have you magic list! never go over those prices unless you run out of stock, try not to underbid those prices (unless your weapons really suck and are alot worse) the only caveat is if the WS is pricing to slow sales as they are to busy etc, but then visiting a few other store should eliminate those oddities etc!

If you want to go mathematical for it wirte down the dmg stats etc (preferable a few other ones like ranges and durability and hams) then use a % factor to lower your prices stating the other smiths as teh ideal case.

I started using the maths but then it got to be to much effort so I just stuck to matching prices (that and my weapons were around the same quality for the most part) and now the best smith has retired so I play it by ear and keep my prices fairly static adjusting for demand (if it doesn't sell in 30 days etc it goes down in price) atm tho my prices don't go up based on demand as I dont sell out in aday etc of any particular item!
