What is the best use of the experimentation points while making one of these?
A full line of damage does not increase by much, but speed is great. What is best?

its gonna depend on your resources as to what the most efficient use of your exp. points will be.. take a weapon that just requires 1 abph and 1 barrel and test it out. here's a hint though - I'd lean pretty heavily (but maybe not completely) on the speed.

If you leave SAC costs alone, you end up with a pretty SAC-heavy weapon. I'm going to try experimenting a point or two on the components and hope that helps.

I just did some tests today and if you are a 12 pointer, I recommend all speed then action cost..
I'm gunna bump up a post of mine and put all the info in and you'll see the differences.

for the first day or two i was doing speed-heavy barrels and ABPHs. after some length experimentation with a knowledgeable customer i am switching to low/zero SAC barrels and experimenting SAC and Damage on final builds. It was late and i have class today so i was still using speed-slanted ABPHs...going to make a few types and continue the experiment process.
Was just doing DL 44 XTs but my final version had extremely low SAC, great accuracy and a nice DPS. Ifound speed experiments to be largely inconsequential overall last night night.
This was an on-the fly experiment session. So i want to put in a more methodical session soon

I attemted to get even close to my pre-CU barrel schem with same exact resources and I couldn't. I have about 700 or more of these I'll be saving for custom builds. I'll post my barrel stats in my other thread when I get home and can look at the screenshots.

Thank you for the info and your help.
I'm going fo speed and SAC.
Then it's trial and error.
I don't know if it's just me, but can you already see a massive jump in custom orders?
Stuff with low SAC (inc all comps)or High damage, etc.

Actually I haven't gotten many orders because everyone wants what I cannot craft. I keep sending them to the WS forums.
I have made a bunch of custom stuff for my PA though.
