I work with a great WS on Wanderhome, but he has been swampped with all of the requests, so I figured I'd come here and ask as well.
I am looking to have some custom weapons made. From what I have read, there seems to be a much more complex crafting process in place now. Also, weapons have caps (pre-slice).
It seems to me that in order to make the best possible weapons, we need to know what those caps are. There is a thread here tracking that, which I think is awesome.
I can certainly wait, since I do not want to waste my good loots (tissues, shards, stocks, barrels, etc..) on guns now if I can get a better balanced weapon in a week or two.
If anyone has some experience with the following configurations, could you please post your findings as it will help me with what I want to have made. Please note that I do not know if the components that I am considering using are worth using or not, so please comment on that as well.
FYI: My toon is a MBH/MPistol/4040 Carbineer.
- Elite Carbine with Krayt Tissue and FF Stock
- Czerka Carbine with Gorax Shards, FF Stock and Theme Park Projectile Rifle Barrel
- HiCap Scatter with Krayt Tissue and Theme Park Projectile Pistol Barrel
- DL44XT with Krayt Tissue and Theme Park Blaster Pistol Barrel
- DX2 Pistol with Krayt Tissue and Theme Park Blaster Pistol Barrel
- LLC with Krayt Tissue and FF Stock (I know these are not that great anymore, but gives me 65m range).
- DE-10 Pistol (yellow barrel) with Krayt Tissue
Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Oh yeah, it seems obvious to me that I want to cap max damage, speed, and SAC. I am not so sure about wound and accuracy. If wound contributes to critical hits, then that might need to be considered. Anyone know this?
Thanks again.

Throw that thempark barrel away, you can craft one better today.
For the Elite Carbine I crafted one with a FF stock and Advanced Scope (Pre-CU) and around +130 dmg tissue and it got to over 1000 dmg unsliced I forget the speed or DPS
For Scatters I used +163 dmg tissue today and didn't hit a damage cap
hope that helps

Cool - that is helpful.
So the theme park barrels are junk now?
Thanks,

I would say so, 25/25 dmg is a lot lower than can be crafted, and if you have any old ones in crates they converted to better than you can craft today, so keep that in mind. You will cap out wound on assembly most times with a Scatter anyway.

Is it true that stocks have no damage mods anymore? If so, then do the Form Fitted Stocks make a lot more sense? Also, the speed mods on the FFs are pretty good. I know that the new crafting changes how that speed is incorporated, but it still seems like a good thing to add.
Comments?

It depends on what you are trying to make. Note that the new advanced stocks reduce SAC, which seems to be pretty important to some professions.
