I had a weaponsmith make me a dx2 with my best krayt tissues.
I had a old dx2 that was a converted, stats was 2.11sp, 443-923dam, was 1023/1023cond, attackcost=84 wound=16.53% acc_mod=0 <--sliced
The one i had built /w 184 -0.64ish krayt tissues, stats at 848/848cond 2.14 331-918dam 18.4%wound attackCOST=125!! acc_mod=1
Not sure if its the cause of the CU or a bad weaponsmith, or the weaponsmith used different tissues than the ones i gave him.
Any thoughts?

I do not think you intentionally got shafted, just WS are going to have to do a lot of re-learning to master how to eek out the last drop of DPS, knowing what to experiment at each stage instead of just damage, damage, damage like the old system.
As to the action cost – that is expected… Many of the converted weapons have very nice SAC that will be hard to replicate with crafted weapons, you may find you will never get a nice gun with a SAC like your converted weapon ever!

dude converted items have a lower action cost aswell as the converted components, we are trying to find a balance, my results vary due to the use of old compoments
my guildy's use to laugh at me for doing 1000 conponents for very single schematic - who is laughing now
