Again, posting my findings and data for some various issues regarding the WS. I know some of this has been discussed before, but it never hurts to havesome more independant data.

Created two pistols (DH17s), one with a speed of 2.93 (modded speed 2.1)and another with a speed of 1.59 (modded speed 1.1). (I used powerups on these weapons in order to get the speeds further apart).

I then set bodyshot as my default attack and got a guildmate to duel me.

For the 2.93 (modded 2.1), I did a BodyShot every5.2 seconds (over the course of around 20 attacks).

For the 1.59 (modded 1.1), I did a BodyShot every 3.57 seconds (over the course of around 20 attacks).

I then gave the fast pistol to my MBH/MSmug .. who had a modded speed of .98:

For the 1.59 (modded .98), I did a BodyShot every 3.33 seconds (over the course of around 15 attacks).

I realize my sample sizes were small, but the first two samples show that there is definalty a difference in the special times given the speed of the weapon. More data would be needed to make any theories on a possible speed cap and/or a special delay cap.

Interesting, prob need a few more lenthy tests maybe 100 shots each to make sure its not a fluke or lag. If it's the case then DPS would be

[(Min+Max)/2]/[speed*specialDelay] or something like that

Key is he did it over 20 attacks - thus if 20 attacks takes 66 seconds (approx) then a single attack is 3.3 (approx)

Correct. If you watch the timestamps for the attacks, sometimes it takes 4, sometimes it takes 3. This tells me its somewhere between the two. By watching how long it takes me to do 20 attacks (to the nearest second), then dividing by 20, I can get an approximate time for each attack.

Sorry to butt in, but how do you get timestamp on your logs... mine doesn't have that.

Its one of the checkboxes in either the Interface or Misc sections of the Settings. I think (I'm at work, no SWG here) its called something like "Show chat timestamps".
