I just made master Weaponsmith using the warhead method, and I am off to the arduious task of getting all of my resources together now. I will soon have it taken care of but my question is what other that clothing attachments can you use to enhance the experimentation skill mod to get extra exp points. I have a weaponsmith's tool kit (or belt not sure, not logged on right now) schematic but what else can I get. Thanks for the info, also is this is posted in another thread just let me know.

They say bes[in port and pyromilla cakes. But neither have really worked for me. Be prepared to pay out the ass to become a 12 pointer. Also, I dont know about your server but on Tarquinas resources have been nerfed to hell lately. Got steel with a decent OQ and COND. you are lucky...

Bloodfin just spawned a duralloy steel with cd around 620 and oq around 910-920, not bad by anymeans sure there is better though

Hey just starting to collect resources and I came across the following question:

Does the quality of sub-components matter in weapons, like the scope and barrels?
I know sub-compnents don't matter in DE.

No problemo. There should be a sticked post at the top with all the stats to keep an eye out for.

Kind of an addition to the original poster's question but is it relates to using standard vs. advanced components. Since I started grinding WS, there hasn't been any Irolunn reactive, so I can't make ABPH's. Regardless, there's no guarantee that if it does pop, it'll be of decent quality. So am I better off using standard components with really high quality resources? Is the benefit from using advanced components really worth the resource investment? How much of an increase will I really see?

Before you could use Normal or Advanced components in any weapon. Now it is more distinct on which part is used. So with no Irolunn gas you wont be able to make the Adv. Power handlers. Hence you wont be able to make the high end weapons (e.g Adv. Laser Rifles, High Capacity Scatter pistol etc.)

Actually, I have been able to make High Cap. Scatters with an advanced barrel and a standard power handler. I was able to experiment it up to about 252 DPS (SAC sucked but I'm only 10 points) and was wondering if using an ABPH would increase this by much.

I think the only ones that don't matter are Conditioning Units and Power Conditioners. Other than those every other component matters a great deal.
