So I figured id come to the WS community and ask them.

-Do they still drop?
-Are they still worth getting?
-Are they worth anything?
-Is it possible to craft a Pike with 1k+ max damage, with the right components? (highest quest is 945 dmg)
-Are the geo drops (Sword cores, cubes) still worth using?

Im wondering If its because post CU the geo cave is sooo flippin hard that not many go there. Much less be successful.

Acklay Bones are not enhancments but replacments (Never understood this one) for the reinforment cores and do not have a speed mod on them. With the slower speed it really hurts the weapon.

I still sell the odd ackaly power hammer. acklay stun batons etc on vendor never move tho.

I think theres a few swordies out there, haven't seen a fencer since the CU thou.

To the original poster: If youre looking to sell enhancers I wouldn't waste my time on getting bones, go hun t krayts or goraxes, thats where the real money is these days

No, im a Pikeman, wondering if its worth going into the Geo caves witha group and getting the bones. Yes I am capped on speed and accuracy, and theres a tourney for Year 2 on my server coming up soon, so I figured id ask you guys.

Also with bones, there is no SAC reduction. Since melee weapons start with such a high SAC to begin with, this makes them even worse. Unless the bones are such high damage that you can almost completely experiment on SAC on the final weapon, then they aren't usually worth it.

Please drop any auction winnings at my vendor on Corellia. It is Abilof Weapons at -1803 2347 just east of the Kor Vella starport or the Fort Qui shuttleport.

I might missunderstand your post, but if Im reading you correctly and you want to use the bones in a pike, then dont bother. The Acklay bones cant go into pikes, youll need Nyms vibro motors to enhance these, and frakly Im convinced you wouldnt be able to hit the 1k mark with them

It's best to get yellow cubes/ paste and make a sword core then to use the acklay bones.
