Thread: Using advanced component in a schematic for a plain component

I understood this was possible pre CU but now I cant (it seems) use an advanced swordcore in place of a sword core inside a 2 handed cleaver for example. Is this an intended feature or a bug?

Intended. It's to keep stats within certain ranges.
