Thread: It possible for a new and crafted DE-10?

Now all we need is a way to view the stats on the barrel. 
I have 7 yellow barrels collecting dust because I'm afraid to pick one of them to use with my best tissues.. With my luck, I'd pick a barrel that did nothing but increase wound chance, hah.

I just made a De-10 with 162 damage krayt tissues. I had a moderate success on SAC while making the ABPHs which sucked, and could have had some better plumbum iron. Still with a white barrel the finished weapon is 897 max damage and 97 SAC. Would have liked to get the SAC to 90 or lower.
To answer the original question, I doubt it but maybe. I don't think you could get the SAC that low AND damage that high at the same time. At some point you'd have to choose which mattered more to you. You could probably come awfully close though with 180 or so damage krayt tissues. My guess would by 990 max with 90 SAC.

To max out over 1k damage, and still have a SAC under 85 with some really good Krayt Tissues?

I would have to say its possible you'll probably need probably 180 Tissues or so.
I'm a 10pt smith and i've made a DE-10 with 939 Max damage and 114 SAC but I expiremented on speed on the sub components, I think the tissue I used was between 100 and 120.So if did SAC instead and had 180 TissuesI thinkI could make it to 1k Damage and 85 SAC.

The pistoleer correspondent said that the only way to get over 1k damage on a DE-10 was with pre-cu yellow DE-10 barrels.

Hmm ok, didn't know that. I was a pre-cu yellow barrel in my DE-10 I mentioned above

Yes but you need a very very very nice barrel since the cap is dependent ont he barrel, there are 960 capped de-10s and 969 depends on the barrel.
