Is the speed stat on Krayt tissues important at all?

I've got sometissues with the following stats:

1) 148 dmg -.37 spd

2)111 dmg -.69 spd

3) 89 dmg -.59

I'm just curious if the only important stat is damage? I'd hate to throw away some of the speed ones if they are actually useful.

Thanks

Of course speed is useful, but it needs at lease DECENT damage to go with it....the lower the speed on your handlers, the higher your DPS will be.

Just keep in mind that they affect the speed by 0.1 of the listed value. For example, your 148/-.37 will really affect your final product speed by about -.037. I generally am concerned more about the damage one them, but the speed does still help.

Alright, thank ya much for the information. Also wondering...

Do the tissues ever come out with a value that could cap your speed? Thus allowing you to max something else while experiementing... like dmg or SAC for instance.

Highest I've seen on them is -.69, so I imagine on at-21 that would be4 for the sum total of .069X4= .276

Doesn't sound like much, so the answer is probably no. But I still like to further my knowledge on components And curious what the highest -spd on them you all might have seen.

When a weapon takes multiple enhancements of all the same serial, the numbers do not stack. In your example, the T21 would just recieve around a -.069 speed bonus. The same goes for damage.

While I'm sure its possible to cap speed on most weapons using some sort of enhancement, you probably won't end up with a very high damage or low SAC weapon. There are a lot more trade-offs in weaponsmithing post-CU, so its not generally possible to max out all the stuff on a weapon.

In my experience the oppostie applies. Tissues help you max the damage, so you can use your experimentation points on speed or SAC.
