Anyone know where the cert for this weapon is? never noticed it on the crafting menu before the patch...

Beam rifles are a commando cert. But I think the cert is still broken for them....not sure though.

Who uses these and are they worth making if no one can use them? I havechecked all the combat professions involving ranged weapons and can't find a cert for it.

There's no cert soeveryone does like 5 damage so there's no point in making or using them. Interestingly, it's a rifle (kill a baby chuba or something with it and you get rifle exp) even though it has the graphic and resource requirements of a commando weapon.

They're broken - nobody gets the cert.

They look nice on a vendor though.

no wonder I couldnt find em in the Skill trees for the classes. Guess it pays not too make uncerted weapons...ROTFLMAO

For what i understand its like the republic blaster, C12's and other weapons with no cert, every one can use them.

I was just wondering what profession uses beam rifles? ive look all through marksman, rifle man, carbineer, bh, commando, hell even pistoleer and smuggler and i have yet found a certification for regular old beam rifles

The cert for these has been broken since beta, and noone ever bothered to fix it even though the Devs have been made aware of it. Instead they introduce limited use schematics and loot componets for them. Even if this was certed the damage is so horrible on it (using the best resources) that noone would buy it anyway.
