Thread: Request to all Weaponsmiths of good heart, noble intents and a mean looking weapon!

(You would want to look at the advanced sword core for swords and the advanced reinforcement core for gaderiffi batons etc.)
The crafted geonosian cores might have a little more damage, but are usually worse in other areas.
Your best bet to improve your gaderiffi baton is to find Ackley bones from Ackley in the Geonosian Biolab on Yavin 4.
With swords, well forget rancor teeth unless they are above 100 damage (my opinion) since the loss in other areas (speed, HAM, etc.) is too high to compensate for that.
You might be able to tweak a little extra damage with a 40+ geo swords core or a yellow power cube but that wouldn't make a lot of difference on a curved sword.

This said, I am betting you dont get much response to a question like this.
Upps, sorry. Bet lost...
But FreeEnterprise has a point here, we like to be paid not only with credits, there has to be something to sweeten the deal, so be prepared to pay with additional loot of the same type you like to have used. Feel free to throw some Ackley bones before us weaponsmiths... *lol*
I charge a min. of 150k per gun custom made. Tons more if Im using my own tissues cubes etc.
Untill you put a good price on your time, people will take advanatage of you. Set a price and stick with it. If your a weaponsmith who is known to produce the best weapons for your server, you wont have a problem.
Otherwise charge less and spend a year in the trenches.
Thx for the responses guys!
Let me make you a suggestion. To me this makes sense even to ppl with multiple accounts. Loots are at best infrequent, Yesterday killed 8 ranocrs and 20 brakeras with a friend and we got like 3 plates of brakeraset loot. Not impressive. Gathering loot is time consuming and eventually boring. To get the really good loot you have to go into hell areas.
Shouldn't be WS pursuing Combat-types to do missions for them? Seems to me we symbiontic, we use the weapons ou make with the resources we gather, at least the looted ones. I'm on kauri and I plan of sharpening my fencer into fighting machine. This however doesn't make me great except with a good melee weapon. If you're a Weaponsmith and are willing to go into business give me a call, I'm on Kauri Galaxy.
My second point is information on what is good ultimatlly benefits you WS. If ppl know what to look for they will try to sell it to you, they wil look for it and you'll get your hands on more of it. I always believe in cooperation.
By the way, I'm getting in the resource business with a friend, we are both new to this area so if you need certain resources we are more than ready to trade good deals for patronage into the wide world of resorce collecting and pricing. Jesus who named those metals and what the hell is intrusive ore and non.intrusive marmelade colleting cheese smile metals?
Arianrhod,
Fencing on Kauri not 24/7, but wanting too.

The problem is as soon as people know what loot is actually useful for weaponsmiths they start to ask exorbitant prices. I have helped several people sort out what loot is crap and what is useful for a weaponsmith, only to see them walk away shouting at the top of their lungs asking for ridiculous prices.
Like: "Hey a WS must be rich and have several millions, why shouldn't they pay me 300k for a single spider fang..."
It would be nice to have a steady supply of loot items to build weapons with, but the asking prices are usually too high to bother.
I have several loot suppliers and have come to an agreement on a standard pricing scheme for most loot. I dont see this type of thing from them. In fact whenever someone offers me stuff I offer them a small bit less than i pay my suppliers, they may scoff but more than half of them come back the next day and take my offer.
