maybe the nerf was in preperation to nerf the entire crafting system?
Remember how we all told TH that we would just make schematics and sell the old junk? (Even though he also came and said "You know what? You guys should be happy we are nerfing the system, it's a business opportunity for you)
However... having nerfed repairs seems awfully convenient to, say, wait until most of the old "uber" weapons are cycled out, and then slap in a stealth crafting nerf

Obviously, the commies are also involved
You could be right. I would not put it past these sneaky beotches that wanted to improve communication by all but eliminating it.
These are the same people that decided to "catch-up" on CS and Bug tickets by deleting them all from the system...
These are the same devs that do not understand fundamental game systems, that do not seem to understand the implications of the messed-up math they decided to use for weapon speed. Do they realize that +100 speed mod = infinite speed?

I think it's very possible Xieflow. I doubt it on the last item for sure as why would the slowest weapons be able to get to 100 speed, well everything but carbine as I recall. They have some serious math issues on every stage. Various background calculations on crafting issues don't work so hot either. They only have the vaguest idea about how skill tapes work in general and appear to have no inclination of finding out either. Weapon repair is 'working as intended' my arse!

LMAO.. every repair I perform comes with the disclaimer.. "the condition will most likely be reduced by 20%" If they are not happy with that.. they can wait until the repairs are un-nerfed.
I've never charged for repairs, but I've broken more guns recently than ever before... "minor blemishes" are almost never seen now.

also (still laughing) what good is a 100% repair tool when it only gives you 5% chance of getting a "minor blemishes"
Anyone out there with +24 to Repair? (not weapon repair.. just plain 'ol repair) that is seeing the same results?

That'd take years with all the schematics people made on patch day. I have at least six months worth of power handler schematics that I could convert to weapons, given a week or two advance notice, and some extra factories.
Armorsmiths also have crap success rates since publish 7.
Maybe this is their way of getting rid of all the multi-sliced items since the CSRs don't seem to know how to do it. Tortilla had legitimate krayt weapons confiscated, but there's people on the trade forums selling blatantly multi-sliced weapons and nothing ever happens to them.
