Wasn't this supposed to be the patch with the new weapons in it? You know, where all the elite skill trees got their new weapons and everything? If so, where is it? Even if every one of them is a quest schem and you only get a few uses, I don't even care that much. I just want to know why it wasn't included in the update.

that was supposed to be part of the "combat rebalance" which seems to be delayed indefinitely

I remember them mentioning this way back when the combat rebalance was first announced, but since then we've already started to get a bunch of new weapons, many of which have elite combat class certifications. I'm guessing we'll continue to see a steady flow of such weapons with each of the new publishes, and not in one lump, as was first stated.
And as of today, the combat balance is tenatively scheduled for publish 10 (so, about 3 months).

new dungeon, second mini patch in publish 8, so a month or so.

Lets see what is gone for good lol. We are never going to get the combat patch. The faction bonuses are never going to be improved. Vehicles will never see the light of day. Corpse loot has been completely abandoned. They have decided that they are never going to overhaul battlefields. Oh heck the list goes on and on.
Not to mention that the space expansion is not looking terribly impressive. Just a space fighter sim. That will most likely require you to take on the pilot profession. Instead of makeing the ships and their abilities dependant on profession.
Anyone else notice that they said nothing about a planet expansion in their preview. No new planets just space enviroments.

Not trying to be rude...
I've been in this game since late August 2003, and I don't remember anything mentioned about a patch that would give any new weapon certs to elite combat professions therefore giving us new weapon schematics (other than the looted schematics).
