Thread: Perfect Gaffi Stick?

With 999 Quality/Shock steel and Iron and with 99% Advanced cores and 3 amazing and 8 great experimentation results (based off 11 exp points) I was able to make gaffi sticks with the following stats
Speed: 3.4
Damage: 99-221
I have seen the max damage from other WS at 221, but the speed has always been at 3.5 and I have yet to see any with speed at 3.4 or below, so i was wondering if I made the best possible gaffi sticks you can make (obviously I capped the damage, so someone with 12 exp points could hit either the HAM or the condition to make a better gaffi) but for damage and speed is this the best?

on intrepid we have 1000 SR kammris.
I don't know what the stats on the cores were, but I know pretty much every Weaponsmith on Intrepid has gaffi sticks with 222 max damage. The "magic" number that lets you hit 300 exactly with a perfect 35% slice.

good g*d man, 1000 kammis? *drool* I don't think lowca has ever had that kind or kammis so i guess I made the best for my server lol!

I think Intrepid has had it's fair share of luck with resource quality. We've also had 1000 OQ Plumbum (although the CO was still under 100)

I have a set of gaffis that were 222 max dmg on Lowca. So close, but not yet the best. My best one is still a 221 with a 35% dmg slice.

The ones on valcyn are around 224max damage. I am not sure but I think our best ditanium is like 856 (or 865 dont remember) and we also have 1000sr Kammris.
But again another weapon a lot of servers are probally close to cap which I guess is 225 3.4 maybe

Yeah maxing out gaffi's isn't that hard due to the resources they require. But getting higher damage will now solely depend on ditanium steel's UT stat, to increase the max damage on your cores.

ehe yeah xieflow i got some of that plumbum, i think its around 89 CD
we got lucky with kammris... more than 1 spawn of 1000 SR it seems, i have two 1000 SR kammris (diff names)

hrm.
my gaffi's are 132-223 3.4.
my kammris iron is NOT 1000sr. actualy i'm not using it. i'm using 998sr iron
maybe it's my 41/41 advanced reinforcement cores?

I get the same max damage with all "Great Success"
I am using 999 SR Kamris Iron and 835 UT Ditanium Steel.

BTW has anyone tried a nice Geo version of there Gaffi Reinforcement Core?

Ibelieve thats the max. speedpossible for that weapon,even with not sogood reinforcement cores but 993 sr kammris iron i get the same speed, cant remember the damage though, i'm quite sure its the same, speed seems to cap earlier than the damage in experimentation.

ditanium steel seems to be capped at UT 850. Mine is 833. So even if you get 850, you will only see maybe a point or two more damage in the cores.
