Hey just to let everyone know I am a noob. without a doubt a noob. SO Ive got a noob question. Can you mount weapons on vehicles such as a landspeeder or something. If so what weapons and how do you go about it. Can weapons smiths build them

There are no mounted weapons in game. MWS's cannot make anything that can be mounted on a player crafted or tamed mount.

When mounted on a Creature you can attack back, but not with specials. When mounted on a vehicle you cannot attack.. speed of the vehicle is your friend.

Anyone remember way back when we had the ability to build 'Light Weapon Mounts' and 'Weapon Mounts'? Seems promising for this exact kind of thing, though of course it was taken out and who knows if it will ever be part of any further solution.

there's a whole bunch of weird vehicle weapons, armor, shields, and components in one of the older patch data files but I doubt if they'll ever get around to doing anything with that seeing how the system is barely able to handle combat at infantry speeds and vehicles are still buggy.

I am betting it will come along with the gcw overhaul. Though I would bet they would be severely curtailed as to where and when you could use them. Maybe limited to battlefields. Same with the atat. Since these items seem to be conjoined. Sadly the faction perks are so imbalanced and lacking it aint funny. It would be nice if they would address it but highly doubt it.
