ok... i am a new Master WS and i was wandering if yall think this system is any good for Custom Guns....
I have a generic guildhall.... and over to the far left i will have a Item named LOT A and behind it have everything that can enhance power handlers.... then i will have, beside it, LOT B which has all my barrels, beside that, LOT C with all my scopes, Lot D with all my stocks, LOT E wiht all my acklay bones etc etc....
When my customer(s) says he wants to custom order a weapon, lets say a T21 ... i tell him to go to my guildhall, and pick one set from LOT A, one from B and one from C and D... i give him an estimate based on the prices he/she picks that way, the customer feels as if its truly custom, and if they are satisfied , will come back, just for the different experience....
also, i will give Free Repairs to any weapon with my tag on it, and a 5% rolling discount for repeat customers.... yall plz tell me what you think

sounds like a lot of work, but it does give the customer the sense of being really involved with the building process. The 5% discount could work very nicely, is it for ppl that you have custom built for? If not how are you going to track the ppl that have actually bought from you against the ones that just bought your weapon off the bazaar?
Just out of interest how much do you charge for a weapon repair that doesn't have your name on it?

Well i am going to be a quality over quantity guy... and for the discount, if i dont remember them, they can show me the weapon they bought... also i would probably charge for repairs based on the weapons complexity... as that determines the chance of suceding(sp?) or failing

One problem is that most carbines and rifles only use one type of scope or barrel, no matter which one you use in the creation of it. I there is a post somewhere on which ones can be customized, but i could not find it.
Regardless, guns with visible stock/scope/barrel look so much better than factory created weapons.

While it is true that they can only use one type of barrel/scope certain stats are better under certain circumstances. Especially with scopes. I have two sets of scopes that I currently use I have my no ham scopes 12irm(0/0/0hams), but I also carry my 43irm(17/17/17ham). For some weapons the extra ham is of little importance while for others that already have extremely high ham costs the ham is very important.

I agree with you there. I was just talking about the visual aspect.

I like the idea but maybe it's easier to use vendors instead of dropping it all on the floor much easier to check the stats etc
