I am curious...What are the going rates for resources on your server?

On Tempest, it seems that the smaller resource sellers sell between 2-4 cpu. And as the resource seller gets bigger , ie more stock, the higher the prices. Some bigger sellers go at 5-6cpu. Then I have seen others, who know what they are looking for, are selling from 10-20cpu. For Steel and Iron, not Organic.

Personally I won't pay more than 3 cpu for normal resources and up to 5 if I really need a nice one. But I am starting to wonder if even that is too much.

Am I being too cheap expecting lower prices?

depends on what your doing with those resources, at the moment the most i've payed is about 6cpu because i really needed it to grind with (didnt need much, as only <5 per craft). but once i master weaponsmith, i'd probably pay over 100cpu for the really good stuff.

on farstar i got a ranger job paying 120cpu for meat when there was a good meat spawn.

depends what you use it for what what its going to make you. you want the best you gota pay high. personaly though i've found resources expencive here, but its a quieter server, so even the rubbish stuff gets sold for 3cpu most of the time.

Dang, where do you get your money lol. 1 Mil credits for 10k units of resource is insane IMO. Even for the best.

And for what I use it for is crafting, not grinding.

when your using ackley bones or crafting scythes and other expencive items, you want the best and your going to make your money back easily. and you dont buy 10k of it

well there are some people on eclipse with like ancient resources the best spawns ever etc and some of the prices go up to 200cpu just for steel

meat well that goes up to 400 lol

I just mastered WS last night on an Alt, and ive been paying from 2 cpu - 8 cpu for the right quality resources to start crafting with. Luckily both great Phrik and really really nice Ostrine spawned so i didnt have to buy that.

i have some similiar kammris on an auction right now,even slightly higher SR, and i'm selling 100k for a modest 4 cpu. It certainly is not worth any less, and for the specific spawn, this stuff could easily go for 6 or 8 cpu. {Eclipse}

Yes, prices on Eclipse are much higher than your average server. Our best out of shift avian can go for over 400 cpu. Our best duralloy Abaweism, which was only in shift the first week of game, goes for over 1,000 cpu (if you can even find it). For good in shift organics it's common to see 60-175 cpu hunting contracts. For good in shift minerals it's common to see 4-6 cpu (our best in shift copper 995 CD/998 OQ sold for 8 cpu in shift). Hopefully it's not like that on your servers as well.

On Tempest I don't think it would go for much. We have had 2 1000SR Kammris spawns in the last few months. I have about 200-300k saved up for my weapons.
