With Scythes I probaly average 1 out of 6 being damaged sliced. Same is true with Acklay PHs, or anything else with a High Damage value. It is the most annoying thing isnt it? Although SOE will hide behing *Its a random roll* about what is sliced, I would tend to think that there is something more to it than that. Like the video gambleing machines at casinos. Wouldnt be too shocked if I discovered each weapon as an internal % chance of being damage sliced. Sort of like the silent caps on materials.

ok lets talk speed slices, I seriously almost quit this game and broke every swg disk i had so i will never be tempted to buy this game ever again!

This is a two week time spread

First i buy 8 acklay bones for 3 mill each..think they were 176 max damage

7 of them get speed slices,one gets a 15% damage

8 scythes made with all 15+ damage componets 6 speed slices,one failure and one lame damage slice

10!!!!! nym motor vks 8 speed slices ,got one for a 30% damage slice (225)

4 krayted geno pistols all tissue over 45 damage,one set was 85 damage every single one speed slice

3 scatters made with 87 damage tissue all speed sliced

DE-10 yellow barrel and 87 damage tissue speed slice

kryat jawa forgot stat of tissue.speed slice

one power hammer made with 180 damage bone .speed slice

And they are all on my vendor for proof on shadowfire

And here is the real heart breaker!! I looted 37 damage yellow cubes from the geno lab about 3 months ago. I was in total shock. I knew i didn't want to rush and use lame reg damage solids. So I waited for 3 months till someone sold me 3 solids with 23 damage for 2 mill. I was so very excited,ran home to craft this "UBAH" scythe! I was going to be king of shadowfire with a 500 damage scythe............YEAH i think not 14% speed slice 3months of dreaming and praying and 2 mill down the tiolet! Thanks devs,thanks for all the wondeful speed slices and thanks for Listening to our voices

Don't get me wrong,speed slices are fine,part of the roll of the dice.. BUT!!!!!! One right after another on high end loot is just plain retarded,I think the devs have become "sadist" and they get off on this kind of crap. Oh well i have vented and don't feel better. Each day of speed slicing is one day closer to burning those swg discs

ok one last post..... i just bought 7 acklay bones 127 min 130 max for 8 mill. Going to make pvp stun batons since the min and max is so close to each other. Anyone wanna take bets on the slicing outcome?. will post the outcome tomorrow if they get delievered. I'm betting i get 2 damage slices

high end stuff does get speed sliced more..test it on a crate of t21's and a crate of d20a rifles...see the difference.

it has been stealth nerfed despite comments to the contrary. this coming from a smuggler of 14 months and a weaponsmith of 8 months.

All but one of my last 6 rifles I got sliced got 15% to 20% speed slice, whats with that?

I sliced a very nice krayted DE-10 the other night, it had something like 375 max damage unsliced. I sliced it and got a speed slice, sure the speed got to 2.something but me and my customer cried. Still a great weapon but it could have been awesome, esspecially for speed capped bh/pistoleers.

I always tell people who are speed capped that they bring it upon themselves with getting speed capped.

im not a weaponsmith but i did get my ph damage sliced it was something like 636 max dam before and like 813 after slice. first time getting a damage slice in a while
