We have all complained and pleaded and cried about the beserker stabalization componet being without serial number. It seems like such an easy fix. So why havn't they fixed it. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the combat re-balace. I know it has been broken for a while, but I was a little shocked when I looked at the petition to fix the rifle thread was started in July of this year. And the original petition was deleted (If I am not mistaken) That is more than enough time to fix this so there has to be a reason they are delaying the fix. Just wish we could get a answer about it.

I've no idea why they haven't fixed it. Rendering the stabilizer componentsunusablewas clearly an unintentional by-product of the overdue fix that made serial-less components and enhancers useless. As for the delay... your guess is as good as mine.
I have a very hard time believing that this won't be addressed in the Combat Upgrade alpha, as in order to TEST the Berserker Rifle, we have to be able to CRAFT it. I dunno, though. We'll just have to wait and see. If I hear anything, you guys will be the first to know.

Technically we don't have to craft it to test
I went on the blue frog things and made myself a MRifleman and you could get Berserkers off the Frogs... Though It would be ncie to craft one

Yes, was a oversight during the force serial for crafting change. (Wish i would have made a few more before that day) lol. But the beserker rifle was not really overpowering. Was AP0 Heat damage with average being around 320 damage. I think I got one up to 470 with some very nice spider fangs.

The only reason I could think that they would want to nerf it out is because of the damage type. I know it's a weak weapon, but so is the tusken and it got nerfed to get rid of one of our damage types. Currently without the berserker we riflemenget energy, cold, stun, and acid. But honeslty, it's about as useless as the SG82's cold damage. When was the last time you seen some rifleman out "t0t4lly pwn1ng" people?

well I have heard rumors pure rumors that it is not fixed because some people complained about giving another damage type to the lowly rifleman. They have energy, cold, acid, and the most important stun weaponry. The berzerker added in heat damage to the equation. I really think its just conspiracy theorist saying the berzerker rifle stabilization component wasn't fixed because people whinned about it but you never know.

I heard other rumors that said that post pach stabilizators (or what they are) drop with serrial, never cared to verify it tho.
So anyone knows if they still drop with or without serrial?

ROFL
Also QFE
SOE memorandum: Anything worth doing is worth putting off so long that people will have long forgotten about it and the general (newer) player base thinks it's something new.

As of 2 weeks ago they were still dropping w/o serial. Not checked sine then though.

I wish we could get an "official" answer. My thought is that do to the high number of bugs that need to be fixed, and the low number of developers assigned to fixing bugs (as opposed to new development), and the low priority of the beserker stabilization component bug ... well, it may never get fixed! Just wish they would tell us ... I want to know if I have a couple of very valuable items or just a couple of converrsation pieces to display on a coffee table
