I am new to the weaponsmith community and am enjoying it. I wanted to brand my weapons and was wondering just what others are doing. I have seen some with no name other that of the weapon, some with the company name (branded), and others with key upgrades (Kyrat, Geo). Of the branded ones, some are at the beginning & others are at the end.

I realize it comes down to personal appeal, but am interested in the methods adopted by others.

I brand my weapons with a {VP} in the weapon name. For example:

Vibroknuckler {VP} 38-147, 2.2.

{VP} stands for Vargo& Prophet, though I imagine no-one on my server really knows that.

I have been thinking of something like (=HK=) or <(HK)> or (=H&K=)

The H is for Holdein, my weaponsmith.... the K..... Ummm well, any suggestions? lol

Hehe, the 'K' doesn't have to stand for anything really. How about just '=HK=' (without the apostrophes).

ps I am sure you are loving the new steel in your back yard.

What I do is put name first that way its free Advertising if they ever post a screen shot on trade forums or Ebay (LOL) and someone might see my WS's name . then I put in the speed then the damage and maybe the wound also if there is room cause I have found some people cant subtract the power up from the weapon even if it shows +## (Odd) . then I add my vendors location and if after all that ill add 12pt to the end of it . so may look like this

GOLO's T21 7.5spd 175-410max 35%wnd (Corellia 122 -5572) 12pt

That way peeps can find the shop alot easier then looking on the map and finding weaponsmith .

I used to brand mine : [logo] [weaponname][stats][enhancement] im rethinking this though and have decided to do it [weapon name] [stats] [enhancement] [the name of my smith] simple because of the "hm..." factor, since whenever someone puts up a P/u on it they will get the name of my crafter in a sys message

I set mine up like this

[enhanment][optional loot parts][weapon]-[cube type(if aplicable)][cond rating if 1100 or higher][dmg on enhancement][creator]

so something could look like this

Gorax Formfitted Hi-Caliber Berzerker Rifle-XLD76(Ykkorr)

or

Krayt Formfitted Tenloss Dxr-6 Disruptor Rifle-GCXXLD68(Ykkorr)

Ykkorr: Master Weaponsmith(12 point)/MasterArtisan/Master Merchant/Alliance Ace Pilot/Master Politician-Mayor,Chaos City ,Rori
Auction winnings can go to Krazy Krayt II vendor(South Coronet Mall) located outside Coronet,its on planet map.

For enhanced weapons, I put the name of the enhancements in the front of the name. For example:

Form-fitted Krayt Flamethrower {VP} xxx-xxx, x.x

or

High Velocity Krayt Republic Blaster {VP} xx-xxx, x.x

[Enhancement] [Original SWG Weapon Name] - Jarke

eg. Krayt Scout Blaster - Jarke

I'd love to put stats on there also, im currently thinking about it....but I like it to look neat and not too messy, plus the client doesnt really care much for what went in it all they care about is the final stats (i slice before sale).

ie...

<Szata> Rancor Tooth Two-handed Curved Sword

<Szata> Vibro Knuckler

<Szata> Krayt Flame Thrower

Although, I'm thinking of moving the tag to the end, since it's so long. When ya' look at my vendor you only see <Szata> then like the first letter or two of the weapon and have to resize everything to see everything. Eh, dunno....
