First are these Looted Cores any better than their crafted counterparts?

3 Geo Reinforcement Cores

Dam 43/48

Speed -.85

Wound 11

Ideal Range 28

Spaeacial Attack 9/5/5

7Geo Reinforcement Cores

Dam 23/27

Speed -1.264

Wound 12

Ideal Range 22

Spaeacial Attack 5/8/7

5GeoSword Cores

Dam 32/40

Speed -.54

Wound 16

Ideal Range 27

Spaeacial Attack 6/6/9

3GeoSword Cores

Dam 39/27

Speed -.45

Wound 14

Ideal Range 22

Spaeacial Attack 9/6/9

Second how many Cores do you need in a PH adn also how many Cubes/Solidifying Agents do you need per Geo Reinforcment Core andGeo Sword Core

The first 2 sets (reinforcement cores) have some really nice speed. The damage isn't that great, but for grinding weapons they would be good. The second 2 sets (sword cores) you can get rid of. A master WS can make better in damage and speed than those. Also, you need 1 reinforcement core per PH, and each geo core needs only 1 cube, with 1 solidifying agent being optional (but recommended).

Hope this helps

Well, I made some Geo reinforcement cores this morning with the following stats.

41/41 damage

-0.57 speed

12 wound

9/9/9 Range

6/6/6 HAM

That's using red cubes with -4 to all ranges and all HAM. I didn't use any solidifying agents though....so If I did, I'd probably be able to get higher stats.

Also, I'm not a 12pt weaponsmith and I didn't make these in a research city....so I'm sure other 12pt WS out there can make better.

As far as how many cubes/solidifying agents for a PH takes....they take one reinforcement core and the rienforcement cores take one geo cube. I actually used the above geo reinforcement core in a power hammer and got the following.

957/957 condition

5.7 speed

129 - 457 damage

31.5% wound

-32/-31/-31 range

110/32/20 HAM

I made that one by experimenting it to 85% on experimental damage....again, not in a research city and as you can see, my resources aren't the besteither.

Also, keep in mind that I'm fairly new to weaponsmithing, but this is my experiences after 2 months

How about a Exocutioners Hack Schem...

  • Does it need Reinforcement or Sword Cores?

  • How many Cores does it need?

  • And does it need any other speacial components?

P.S. I like color.

Hacks have the same requirements asscythes: 2 geo sword cores, carbonite, andphrik. The difference is that a Hack schem is only 1 use, compared to 2 uses on a scythe schem. So to maximize that schem, you definitely want to get a set of 7 cubesand agents, or 6 looted cores, to get 2 hacks from that use. It's been reported that sets of 9 cubesare dropping, not so sure on agents but since agents are optional, you may be able to get 3 Hacks from a schem.

I think something needs clarification here. To MAKE a Geo sword coreor re-core, you need a cube and an optional but desirable solidifying agent. If you have already looted cores, then there's nowhere left to put the cubes/agents. Another disadvantage in loot cores is that they only have Ideal Range mods instead of all three range mods that crafted have, so a PH made with one will have horrible accuracy unless you can keep your target in the sweet spot. The bright side of that is thatusually the Ideal Range on a worthwhile loot core isbetter than crafted.
