Thread: A couple questions about crafting stations and other

Hi guys
I'm about to make my first big batch of weapons and had a few questions.
Crafting Stations
1a. Are there certain weapon crafting stations that are better to stand by than othere? IE crafting stations in npc cities, or player cities, or player houses?
1b.How much do these usually sell for(havn't found any on vendors) and what's the number on a quality one?
2. Are there certain foods or enhancements or droidsthat could benefit creating my weapons (NOT including high priced experimentation and assembly tapes/attachments)?

The urban myth strikes again. First and foremost the quality of the crafting station dosent matter. Unless the devs fixed and did not tell anyone. You can do just aswell with a level 13 crafting station as a 42 plus. That being said you can get a crafting station for around 10 to 15k. Most people just buy the best, and never know that there is no difference.
The crafting station is generic, and its an issue that has just faded over time. Just like a molecular clamp or a artisan component. The stats do not matter. Though you will want to get a 42 plus model eventually, because they are a mark of quality for the owner.
I have personally compared no difference period. You will get the same result either way. The best way to find a crafting station for sale is to
A. Ask another crafter you see where they got theirs.
B. Use the global search.

Py cake is for assembly. Bepsin Port is for exeprimenting. You use 1 py cak per assembly and 1 drink of bespin before clicking run experiment. If you do it 1 point at a time you have to drink each time, thus it's better to use many experiment points at once.

Best are player made ones, can be found in players houses, or purchased from your local architect.

+42.000 and up are quality for crafting stations....on radiant you can usually find these for around 40-60k.

Pyollian Cake, and Bespin Port are a food and drink you can take to increase your assembly success. Some people think that using a crafting droid (no ratings) is better for experimenting, but this has never been proven.

Okay good info.
What about Player cities that are research centers? How much does that help when crafting?
