I'm trying to figure out which new loot components do what.. such as there's some dropped component that changes kinetic to energy and hopefully the other way round. Can anyone clear up the pros, cons and weirdness revolving around these new looted components.

The scopes add accuracy but they change the Kinetic Guns to Energy, and change Energy guns to Blast.
The Blaster power handlers replace krayt tissues when building Blaster Power Handlers. They dont jack up the guns. But they do reduce SAC which is hecka nice
