As said....it does not incorporate into your character sheet.

This accuracy mod is something similar to the old system where there used to be a little number next to your target which showed the accuracy mod based on range and movement. IT's sounding as if this is still there although it's more an underlying affect now then before.

On at least two different occasions I had noticed I was doing more damage while standing still then if I was running.

*I haven't been able to focus on testing this yet.

Not only will the new scopes change the dmg type of your weapon, but the added accuracy does not calculate into the weilder of the weapon.

My pistol acc with a FWG feather is 285. My Pistol Acc wiht a FWG feather with +65 acc scopes is still 285. This was tested on my MP/MBH character.

Checked the accuracy with Control C. No chage what so ever.

I don't believe that accuracy added from a weapon has ever calculated into your character sheet.

Accuracybonus does not effect your weapons or "general" ranged accuracy.

Accuracy bonus does only 1 thing that is effect your "accuracy bonus".

Accuracy bonus is the "bonus" you get depending on your accuracy and the opponets defense.

Basically if you accuracy is higher than opponets defense (and no you do not count the accuracy bonus on your accuracy) you get a bonus to damage. If you accuracy is lower you hit more towards your minimum damage.

The accuracy expands upon that bonus.

When I tested it out with a friend I find a "rule of thumb" to go by is that if your accuracy is higher you will get that much more damage. If you accuracy is lower you will get nothing.

For example a weapon (foreasy math) is 500 min damage and 1000 max damage. and 50 accuracy bonus on a ranged shot.

If your accuracy is higher you will modify that by 50. So if you accuracy is higher you will do the max damage of weapon, but with the bonus too you will now do50 more damage. So a ranged shot would do 1050 damage instead of 1000.

If your accuracy is lower you will modify that decrease by 0. So if your accuracy is lower and you only hit at 50% (half between min and max) you would hit for 750 damage. with the bonus you will now modify that by 0 and do 750 damage.

You can modify your "general or weapon"accuracy; however, accuracy bonus will not do it. You need a weapon that improves general accuracy or weapon accurracy for the effect you are talking about. This WILL show up on your character sheet. For example the +15 from a FW FWG-5 will give you 15 accuracy and you will see it in your sheet.

Yes if either you are your target is moving you do less damage. It doesn't seem to drop anymore if you are both moving. If you are prone and using a ranged weapon you do more damage.

That is all well and good except that Ive found that weapon mods have absolutely no effect.

It could be that my accuracy is already capped but basically, I found that if I hit a hard NPC... lvl80, and have a weapon with same min damage but one has accuracy of 55 and another 17, there is basically no difference. However, if I take Crispics, I can actually see a difference (albiet small). Ive I boost by accuracy with Pyro , then I really see a difference.

I did an inverse of this test by seeing how the accuracy modifiers from PuPs affect weapons. I tried a weapon without PuP and put a speed pup that I purposely created with the worse accuracy i could. Again this seemed to have made absolutely no difference to the amount of damage i was dealing. I shooting a player who just stood still while i was trying different permutations out. I was hitting above Minimum of the weapon so I would have expected adding removing the PuP to have an effect - it didnt , none at all.

I think weapon accuracy has absolutely no effect whatsoever. I still pride myself on producing weapons with good accuracy mods and PuPs with low accuracy overhead on the basis it will get sorted but at the moment, its somewhat futile.
