I want tofirst apologize for my lackof knowledge in the WS profession. I am a TKA and to the best of my knowledge, the best stats a VK can come out w/ presliced (w/ a vibro motor) is around 30's-160's, speed 2.2ish. So the max damge on a sliced the max dmg. would beup to around 210's. Now from talking w/ a player who played a TKA on another server, she told me that she own a pair of VK on the other server(after a dmg sliced) that goes up to the 280's. So naturally I was shocked. She told me the WS that made it used a rancor teeth. I talked to my regular master WS and he told me that he tried everything he can, but can't add the rancor teeth on any of the compoents that makes up the VK. Can any WS here shred any light on this matter for me please as I would really like to be a proud own of such a good VK. Thanks for your time.

Never having gotten a rancor tooth to look at I can only speculate - but from what I have read here, rancor teeth are not an enhancement so much but a replacement component - for a sword core. Taking that, it would mean rancor teeth only go into making sword type weapons. As it is a replacement and not an augmentation it's effectiveness is somewhat limited - my own advanced sword cores come out as +43/+43/-0.63.

That being said I still have to chuckle at the idea of someone using a sword that instead of having a long steel blade - has a big tooth on top of the hilt.

Was the stats she gave with a powerup? It might also be that her server actually has half decent Desh copper, which is a required component for advanced vibro units, with the key attribute being Unit Toughness and all the desh I have seen usually is very poor in that area.

A little bump, I was the weaponsmith who tried to use the tooth in a VK. And would like to know how someone managed to do this on another server (was it some kind of bug?)
