Thread: New Krayt HAM- Tissues

Well i was just looking at some screenshots from the test center showing krayts with HAM of 325K. This would really change the tissue market for sure. Man first the FWG5 and such nerf now this, gonna really make uber weapons real rare, and the tissue market go insane.
That's why i dont sell my 50+ tissues now
Giant Canyon Krayt spotted yesterday with 463k HAM. Can't wait to see an Ancient.
Hmmm..this is not good news...First they screw up the resource shifts (spawns are waaaaaaay to rare), then they nerf the FWG5, now Krayts with 400K HAM? Guess what...it ain't worth it IMO, if the Dev's are trying to destroy this profession they're on the right track!

.....Commando here I come ...woo hoo!
If the Devs are tryin to stay true to the whole star wars movies, then they should keep the proportions of creature/character/npc stats the same. What I mean by this is that they shouldnt just make the Krayt have 300k-800k Ham without changing the rancor. Why the rancor? Well, if anyone has ever read the books they would know why the rancor was so slow and sluggish in Jabba's palace. It was like this because it had fought (and won) against a Krayt Dragon, which was provided by Boba Fett himself as a missions for Jabba. And thus, if they change rancors, then they need to change panthers, grauls, etc. This is completely throwing the game out of whack. Please if your are a dev reading this, please o pretty please (and i'm not meaning to sound sarcastic) stop with the "nerf bat" and making stuff that is hated, more hated. How about instead of making guns with krayt more rare (and thus creating monopolies for certain players) make better and different types of tisses or things u can put into the gun? That way everyone can get three types of a gun: normal, krayt, and the one above krayt. Otherwise you are going to have a few people running the pvp, and weaponsmith industry, and everyone else with weapons a step or two above a CDEF.
Thanks for your time,

This is fine for the established smiths who have had their time to make millions on the kayt weapon goldrush.
A lot of us new and upcoming smiths will now never get a chance to work with krayt enhancements, as the cost (and availability) will become an obstacle to us doing so. On the other hand mega rich established smiths will still be able to pay for these tissues at whatever the new prices come out at, and in turn be able to produce enhanced weapons and sell for whatever price they choose.
Some one explain the thinking here...?
On another note: the At-St is being nerfed from PvE encounters so this means that the krayt hunters lose a major weapon in their arsenal. Only master CH will be able to control the pets necessary to take down a Krayt IN THEIR CURRENT GUISE.
Increasing their HAM by a factor of ten or more, basically makes this creature unkillable, and hence its loot will be a lot less readily available (if at all).
Can't us new smiths PLEASE have something to enable enhancements that don't invlove spending obscene amounts of credits on, or having to kill 50 lokian NPCs to find...?
The FWG5 was never intended to have the ability to have multiple power handlers (And thus be multiKrayted) per Devs, and Krayt Dragons are far too easy to kill in their current state.
I disagree. Instead of making a new uberweapon that people will pay millions for to oneshot or completely overkill someone in PvP, do exactly what is happening now. Reduce the influx of Krayt tissues and pearls. Make people WORK to get the materials needed to make these weapons. The combat people get the materials, and the crafters turn them into highly desired and powerful works. It's a symbiosis that drives a good economy.
Eventually, people will lose the weapons to decay, and the prevalance of them will come down for a more reasonable level. Why not instead of using Krayt weapons, use the one BELOW Krayt?
You can have your three types of gun. Normal, the one above normal, and Krayted. Hell, there aren't even equivalents to the Krayt boost for melee weapons, from what I see.
Peope will learn to adapt. Not eveyone needs to be uber.
