Hi,

I recently setup a factory to pump out molecular clamps for my slicing habit But the only way I could get it to work was to put in radioactive power?!? Is this right? I tried Gas, Liquid, and Solid energy which all failed? Does this mean I can only use radioactive power or is there a system where only certain fuels can be used for certain factories? And if so how do I find out what my factory needs?

I'm just a humble Smuggler with a Neutron Pixie problem So any help would be appreciated.

man i've never heard of that, solid power should work too from a wind or solar generator, might be a bug

I am obviously talking out of my bum here as I rarely to never use a factory, but wasn't there some sort of bug where Radioactive power would be taken out of your inventory first automaticallywhen you had multiple types on you?

Harvesters and factories will only take radioactives and solar/wind as power. Petro fuel, reactive gas, and some other stuff is listed as "energy" but is not usable.

Adding power will use a random resource stack from your inventory (including stacks in backpacks) so if you don't want it to use a particular power source (like that radioactive you've been saving for spices) you have to put it in the bank or your house.
