So the most tedious grind (in the game i presum) is almost over. I have 10k to go in munitions 3, and i'll get that done tonight. Then, the 77k through munitions 4, and master here I come.

I sure hope I can actually make some money as a master. As a novice, it seems all i can really sell is laser carbines and rifles, since they get along on name alone. I have sold others here and there, but the laser weapons are the only ones that move consistently. Otherwise, noone wants to buy anything unless it's made by a master.

What have you masters found upon reaching the master level?

well i have a great pa to help me, with several people in it dealing in resources. I also plan on doing only custum orders, and having a not so stocked vendor.

I know a few weaponsmiths, Spectre being the one i've known longest. She is GREAT, and supplies half the galaxie, but she spends all her time doing it. That I wont do. I'll get by though, on account of my PA freinds.

PA help is nice and all...I was collecting resources since teh game began...and even though I could have mastered months ago...I only mastered about 4 weeks ago because I enjoyed taking my time with it and enjoying the game without grinding. I was able to make a respectable living paying for my harvesters and for power with the sales of my weapon because I under priced all the masters by a huge margin. But my weapons were only slightly less in damage and speed...so name recognition became great....

Now that Im a master though...business is good Get in partnership with a master smuggler and have your weapons sliced so you can have 2 vendors people like buying already sliced weapons because then they know what they are getting speed or damage slice (wish people would realize the value of a really good speed slice though).

First of all... Congratulations... keep it up... you're almost there!

Now to answer your question. I found disappointment.. huge disappointment... because I realized that I had to spend another 8+ shifts to gather all the resources that I need to make the guns that are somewhat comparable to the long time Masters.Gather resources is a BIG money drain on a non-guilded weaponsmith.... at least when you are in a guild you can promise an infinite supply of free guns if they help you mine the resources you need to make it.

If you've been smart and been gathering the good resources while grinding... you'll be a bit further along in the game.. but it will take you at least a month or a few lucky shifts to get the best resources you need.

Might I suggest you team up with an overburdened Master who is looking for a few days vacation and will give you a few suggestions andsome of their ultra rareresources that you need to begin to make a name for yourself. I'm on Lowca and would love to team with a new Master or non-master.
