Thread: Weamonsmiths Don't Get to Respec!!!

Hey all, I am an AS and I originally posted this on the AS forums, but its relevand to you guys as well:


OK, they are doing a lot of things right in the CU. I admit its not as bad as I was expecting. but there is one thing thats really making me mad. They let all the combat proffs Respec, but they won't let anyone else do it! they made just as many changes to AS, WS, and entertainers as they did to the combad proffs... Frankly I don't think its unreasonable to ask that I be able to drop AS and pick up a combat profession... I don't want to start a ranting thread, but if you agree with me please submit feedback to the devs at this link:

Maybe they'll listen if they get enough feedback on it.

Last night Tiggs said the Devs were "thinking about it", but no matter the decision, it wouldn't be available at CU launch. So there's still a chance we can get our respec.

I think you have a point but I don't think the crafting professions have changed all that much. Weaponsmith at least. After all, it is the combat revamp, not the crafters revamp.

Let's see....we have lots of new weapons, a new crafting system, a new combat system that exposes crafters to the one-hit smackdown, no armor, no buffs. And your issue with letting WS's test these professions to gaina better understanding of how well the new weapons work is.......?

AKA The-crafters-that-don't-have-combat-skills-will-die-revamp. Not quite as simple as you paint it.
