I am just woundering if these are working as intended.
I have a 1.9 speed Vibro Lance but it seems to have no effect on the special timers. If I switch to a slower weapon the timer still goes at the same speed (it appears that way).
I have not actually timed this yet but I am havening a hard time telling any difference in weapons speed wise, both ranged and melee.
Maybe the special timers are different then weapon speed, not sure.

Check out the introduction on combat in the CU docs:
Combat Upgrade: Health-Action-Mind and the Combat Interface
Basically, all specials are done in 3 steps: warm-up, execution, cool-down.
And, in the case of grenades, there is also a reuse timer. The only thing the speed of the weapon changes is execution.

Even TKM has the same limitations on attacks barehanded or with VK's makes no difference a durni can hit faster than a TKM , just respec to one and watch your combat logs instead and use what passes for an autoattack.

I didn't know were the weapon speed was actually taking effect, or if it was at all as I was seeing little or no effect on different weapon speeds. Just about everyone I have asked has no clue on this, some even said it has been disabled or not in effect in CU.
So I figured if anyone would know it would be a weapon smith. Thanks again.
