Thread: Unknown resource type question

Stun Baton's call for bryothsis gemstone, which on lowca (maybe on all servers too?) hasnt spawned with over 350 UT. An Unkown gemston just spawned with very nice UT stats can I use that in place of the bryothsis gemston? If not what is the purpose of unkown resources? Thanks for your help.

No it must be the specific type required, the purpose of unknown is a lot of weapons require Ferrous or Non-ferrous minerals which means you can use say Iron/Steel on the ferrous or unknown ferrous in that weapon. I know on Ahazi a while back there was an extremely good cd/oq unknown ferrous that spawned called weakem. This is highly sought after because only Iron/Steel tend not to get high cd/oq as most mineral types have a very set limit as to how well their stats get.
