Thread: This Steel useful for WS's?

I know the OQ is low, but I thought that this steel would at least be ideal for many melee weapons (ie, VK's..). Is this steel anything worth mining, selling, or holding onto to craft with later?

well considering that you can't really get higher than 1000SR, i'll say this steel is great for any WS who makes melee weapons on any server. Best actually. But generally getting high SR for steel is not that tough although it's always good to get the best.

Getting high SR isn't that tough, but getting 1000 SR is pretty darn tough. And the 994 UT ain't too shabby either.

Good for melee weapons but also for architects. Problem though has this spawned on a beginner planet or have you found it on a planet like dathomir. If it is on a beginner planet then expect that material to be mined relentlessly. Mineing it is like mineing money so everyone is in on it. That means to sell it at any value you will have to wait a couple months. Your server is going to be bloated with it.

Too bad the OQ is so low, that's really nice CD for steel. Doesn't get much higher than that.

I found this on Rori, but I believe it may have been on one or two of the other planets as well. I'm not too worried about the market being flooded, because I plan on holding on to this until after I decide whether I want to do some Architecture or Weaponsmith work. If I decide not to, then I'll worry about selling it.

Guys this is the weaponsmith board...remember this steel will ROCK for Adv Blaster and adv blaster rifle barrels which depend onCond and SR 
and Adv Projectile Pistol barrels which use HR and SR...

I know it was on Rori until last night...however, its not there anymore (at least I don't get the option to mine it or sample it). I did find more of it on Naboo though.

Wow some people arent getting high quality duralloy. The big thing on that is the sr. On duralloy the other stats are around that high all the time. With that sr though you are getting about as close to perfect on the final assembly as you can get. Interested what initial experimentation you guys get off of it.

I'm waiting for that myself. I'm just heading myself up the WS ladder now, so I'm not going to be using this anytime soon...want to save it until I have WS mastered.
which may take me a while.
Anybody used any of this so far and compared the final product with other fairly high quality duralloy steel?
