Will this profession be dominated by those who stockpiled pre-CU components?

If the answer is a resounding yes, then I'm outta here. Some of us didn't have the time to monitor what was happening in TC. First they allowed pre-nerfs to stick around, then they madeus 2nd class citizens to loot campers....this would be the last straw for me.

I hope not. I did not stockpile and I'm not sure this was known ahead of time from the TC either. I have some old crates that was left in my factories, which I suppose I'll use to make slightly better weapons for special occations, but the bulk that goes for sale will be using all new components.

Though some of the pre-cu components are better, the impact they have on the actual crafted weapon is not super-significant. Take advanced power blaster handlers for instance, pre-cu one are -1.66 speed I think, and newly made is -0.99. Seems like alot, but from what I've read this speed isn't transfered to the final weapon at a 1:1 bases, rather 1:10. So the extra 0.67 seconds will be 0.07 seconds faster using the pre-cu abphs. Not that big a deal.

Agreed.

And there is also a limited stockpile of pre-CU components. They will run out. At some point.

It seems that the only alternative is to make differences in resource stats much less significant. Hmm....2 years of dilligentresourcingdown the tubes.
