At this point, the limiting factor of the scythe is the limitation to the number of same serial looted cubes that can be looted. I'm assuming that all loots have been capped at 10 items (at least they were for krayt loot). This would leave us with 6 as the maximum number of Scythes that can be made with one looted schematic. This, of course, is assuming that you can find a set of cubes with the same serials... nine of them. So far the most i've seen was 7 cubes, which I was able to make 2 scythes with. Can anyone confirm a max number of cubes that can be looted?

what exactly is needed to make the scythe? so far i've gotten 3 scythe schematics, 2 geonosian reinforced core schematics, 5 geonosian sword cores, 2 white power cubes and 5 of some other geonosian thing that looks like toothpaste.

#1 you need the scythe schematic, duh.
#2 you need two geonosian sword cores per scythe... but there are 2 ways to obtain them
a) looted cores
b) weaponsmith made cores using:
i) geonosian sword core schematic and
ii) geonosian power cube
And then some metal resources your everyday weaponsmith should have. =)

I will be interested to hear what the fall out from this is. If that is all we can make from this schem, these babies will be expensive. It won't be a pretty sight because a lot of people will be pointing fingers about the cost. But what are you going to do? I guess the best thing to do is just let anyone who wants one know that they will have to get theloot for you. Give them one for free and sell the rest. But I am going to fell silly doing factory runs for 2 or 3 items.
One other thing is experimentation. I noticed with the enhanced E11 that I did not use the "use" until I had completed the manufacturing schem. Does that mean if I get some bad results I can simply cancel out of the crafting session and start over without losing the "use". I will cry If I get a crit fail on my last experimentation point on a scythe.

If we dont get greedy and the people getting loot drops dont get greedy, I think things will be fine.
It's when greed sets in that things get blown out of porportion.
I got a pack of 10 yellow cubes last night for free. (one WS on our server is buying them for 100k each) but the difference its I'll be selling my sythes for 10-15k each and he'll probally be selling for 220k each at least.
I dont care if I sell out fast, if I can provide a weapon and still make a fair profit on them and make the customer happy, I see no problem.
I am happy I have loot collectors who dont give in to virtual credit greed and sell to me very cheap or just give me stuff they have no use for.
