I saw my naigbour weaponsmith selling laser rifles with max damage 441 for 12K,
unless this weaponsmith sell krayt weapons real cheap.. or has received several identical crappy sliced I can't understand how this is possible.

My best laser rifle is 401 max damage, are my laser rifles crappy?
Or is this weaponsmith using that exploit getting 40 higher damage then me?

Is he using stocks?

prolly using stocks... the best i have been able to get with 993 OQ 700 CD link-steel and 975 CD 951 OQ copper has been 407 max without stock... stocked i have been able to get it up to 460 (at great cost to ham and about +.2 on the spd)

that is so depressing... I was hitting 400 max *with* stocks yesterday.

Stock increase the damage a bit, but doesn't also increase the HAM cost as well?

To get 40 extra damage on the gun you'd need a nicely damage experimented stock. This will make the HAM costs skyrocket. Check the HAM, if it's approximately in line with the 400 dmg guns, it's most likely sliced. If he's using stocks, look for a significantly higher HAM and wound andl a slower speed. These will be the giveaways as to what he's doing.
