Thread: Special Costs and Experimentation
I'm a new Master Weaponsmith, and i'm making weapons, i think with good damages, but it have so much "HAM specials costs".
I'm using good resources, and all crafting stages "good success!".
How i could make best weapons with good special costs?
Thx to all
You can experiment down the HAM costs, but as i'm sure you know this will take some from the damage/speed experimentation. I really wouldn't recommend this route if you're planning on selling these guns, because of the way people appraise weapons. Almost all of your customers, no matter how experienced will look first at damage and speed. Only if those match up will they ever even look at the HAM, those that actually do look at HAM that is. Best way is just to work on getting better resources, and in the mean time, sell at a reduced price, perhaps on the bazaar if there'sa significant lack in your weapons' quality.
It sounds a little like you're using stocks, maybe scopes too. That would explain the HAM costs. I wouldn't recommend using stocks ever, unless someone specifically wants that damage, because these things have enormous HAM costs as well as a speed penelty. If you're going to use scopes, make sure you can experiment down the HAM to around 1 or 2.
I have found that scopes with all your points spen in efficency lower HAM cost by quite a bit in some cases.
In some cases scopes keep down the HAM cost of stocks if all you do is expierment on damage with a stock.
I have not had anybody complain about a rifle that has been with a stock and a scope, actually they have been quite happy with my products. ![]()
