Thread: At what point should I worry about repairing?
I know that before 50 pecent is advisable. But how close can I cut it?
Is a weaponsmith the only one that can fix my weapon? Could I have a weaponsmith make me a repair kit and I do it on my own?
Just curious. I have a couple of nice pistols I don't want to see go to garabage in less than a week.
any one can repair a weapon but a weaponsmith is most wise....
even a master weaponsmith can fail on repairs but it mainly depends on the tool used for it..e.i. if its efficency is 80-90 yuor in good hands mostly anything less is iffy especially if its a good weapon.
if the weapon has been sliced the reapir % of success will go down and if the condition is lower than like 1/4% of original condition is a risky repair....there is no 100% garantee the repair will be a success but if it is then its all ok.
1-4 things can happen during a repair.
1. perfect reair -0
2. repairsuccessful minor blemishes -5 -25 -50
3. max condition has been lowered -100 -200
4. you have failed to repair the item, the item falls apart in your hands...
power ups lower the condition faster, and the lowe the condition the less dmg and slower the weapon becomes but its no all to noticable until its relaly down in the red zone........
Things SEEM to get iffy at that 1/4th mark...and I see ALOT of that with people finding me on search.
Wierd thing, Ive NEVER had a perfect repair...99% are minor blemishes ( full repair -25 condition )
You guys get perfect repairs?
I have had a couple perfect repairs. Mostly minor blemishes though. I get enough of them that fail completely that I try not to repair weapons at all except for friends who know the risks.

I do repairs for tips on Bria. I explain the risks to folks too, and tell them No garuntees because the game can be random at any point it likes. I have never seen a perfect repair though, even when I started using 99.99% tools.
Worst tip I ever got from a customer: "Dont get Married"
Best tip I ever got from a customer: 15k credits, and only did 3 weapons for him
OK, just wanna double check: As condition worsens, the speed and damage of the weapon get worse. Is there an equation, or rule of thumb that you can guage the deterioration of the weapon by?
Thanks!
