Thread: New and Old Weaponsmith Loot

I would like to know how you think about the balance between new and old Weaponsmith Loot at the moment.

- Power Cells and Reinforced Casings have additional reduction in Special Attack Cost next to more damage and faster speed.

- Krayt Tissues and Gorax Bones work as usual with more damage and faster speed.

- Acklay Bones for example only give a damage bonus.

You think that Krayt and Gorax Loot should be brought up to the level of the new BH loot? That means adding - Special Attack Cost.

Should Acklay Bones receive additional Stats like Speed and SAC reduction? Should there be some more loot to enhance Melee Weapons? A new enhancement for Vibro Blade Units would be possible here.

TBH, I wouldn't like to see them touch existing loots, i think you'd start seeing krayt camping again.If we could get a few new melee weps that are worth a darnthat accept the old loot, that would be enough for me.

Maybe it hasn't LOL...I haven't been offered a piece of tissue in a while...only Cells and Casings.

I would rather they did something different so you had to make a choice. Perhaps add a min dam bonus to tissues, or accuracy (when they get weapon acc to work) make them drop with higher dam or make krayt tissues damage add heat elemental damage instead of ordinary damage.


I thin kit would be boring if every enhancers just did the same I want more variety

You mean adding Heat Elemental Damage to a Laser Rifle for example? What about the weapons that already have Elemental damage?

You mean adding Heat Elemental Damage to a Laser Rifle for example? What about the weapons that already have Elemental damage?





Yeah I do, but this would have to work together with my idea of NPCs having weaknesses and resistances against elemental damage. Weapons that allready had elemental damage would have both (keep in mind I merely post ideas I have no clue on how hard it would be to code ).


Also I would like to see the damage numbers go up on tissues if this went through, but balancing it out with a subtraction of ordinary damage. (so fo rinstance a +500 heat -300 ordinary damage tissue).


And this idea should be backed up by other enhancements. So for instance Kimogilas could get a new enhancers drop that was like krayt tissues, but with electrical damage instead. and so forth).


If this went through Elemental damage should be treated like normal damage in regards to special multipliers.

I thought now about some new enhancing loots and got some ideas:

- Ranged Elemental Enhancer
Bonus: + Elemental Damage
Can be built into: Power Handler, Feed Mechanism
Looted: Lok (Kimogilas?)

- Ranged Minimum Damage Enhancer
Bonus: + Minimum Damage, - Attack Speed
Can be built into: Power Handler, Feed Mechanism
Looted: Naboo (Peko Peko Albatross?)

- Melee Elemental Enhancer
Bonus: + Elemental Damage
Can be built into: Sword Core, Reinforcement Core, Vibro Blade Unit
Looted: Yavin (Kliknik? Geonosians?)

- Melee Minimum Damage Enhancer
Bonus: + Minimum Damage, - Attack Speed
Can be built into: Sword Core, Reinforcement Core, Vibro Blade Unit
Looted: Dathomir (Nightsisters?)
