Thread: Czerka Carbine Question from a BH

I have a 6 set of Gorax shards that are +156. Could a WS come close to capping both SAC and Max damage with those shards? Assume a well established WS, 12pts, buffs andwith the best resources.

It differes from server to server, but on my server you would come pretty close to capping sac and dam with those (though not completely double capping)

im not knocking you for wanting a czerka dart carbine....but i do have a question....why do so many BHs want this weapon? is it the novelty of it? because this is not nearly highest hitting weapon that we can make as WS's....just looking for answers, as im finding a TON of BH's looking for czerka dart carbines now....again, this is not a flame, just a search for an answer =)

i think its because alot of bh like to use kintic weapons on jedi since jedi can wear psg's which block energy. i was thinking of making a uber one with some casings but don't feel like wasting 6 where i can make 6 fwgs

Definitely would be fun to make. Good thing about BHs wanting this is .. BH gets component. BH wants -> BH gets. I got to make a T21 with 183 Enhanced Power Cells the other day. Very very fun. Would never make it with my own stash but loved having the opportunity to make it.

Atm stacks of 6 casings doesnt seem to be dropping, so you wont have to make that decision
I know Id sooner make 1 Dart Carbine with 6shards (or casings should they ever surface) than 6 feathers. And I will cry my heart out if someone find 6 casings then turns them into Feathers. Theres so many stacks of less than 6 which can make feather it blasphemy to use stacks of 6 for anything else than the Dart

And don't knock people wanting different weapons, lol. Aren't we always b!tching about only making a few viable weaps?

I have a WS and a BH, my BH loves the look and especially the sound of the Czerka, it's just soooo damned expensive to enhance for the low level pay off. This should be dropped to 3 projective feed mechs.

As for 6 sets of casings. They are made of unobtanium atm, so its all about the gorax. Might have to do some major gorax killing soon. I am not sure the 156s will cut it.
/dreams of max capped and sac capped czerka with sweet loot scope.... hmmm.... dead jedis.... hmmm....

I capped one easilly with with 175's i think they were.. 156 will get pretty close

Yeah I solo'd 10 Gorax the other day and I got a set of 2 Shards. Good luck with finding an uber set of 6. And I'm on your server too.

i had a customer give me a stack of 6 casings...was int he middle of experimenting on the czerka....CRASH TO DESKTOP...no log files sent so they cant restore the items to me

100% correct.
LOTS of peeps have energy weapons, and that includes all the lightsabers running around out there. If I'd have to guess, I'd say 80% of the population engaging in combat these days is primarily armed with an energy weapon.
As a result, you see lots of peeps also running around with PSG's and armor suited up for energy attacks. That's why you see are the peeps running around in recon armor as well.
Kinetic is where its at these days for us Bounty Hunters. It just so happens that the best carbine out there for us that is kinetic is the Czerka Carbine. It comes very close to the Elite, E5, and E11 mark 2 when its tweaked up properly. When you go against some bloke that is totally geared up against energy, you end up doing MORE damage than any of the best carbines out there.
And yea....what the other guy said....it just makes a cool sound too.
Its pretty amazing though....there are still tons of BH's running around with energy weapons. Just don't think about this stuff, I guess.
