Thread: Weaponsmith Reference Standalone Website
Over the last few days, well slightly more but who's counting
what weapons they are certified for
which profession grants access to specific weapons
enhancements used in weapons
general difference between the types of damage
DPS / SAC / and other weapon stats
so for those reasons, and like I said a quick reference I've put together, from many places, mostly from this forum, the following website...
so without wasting any more time...
Fellow Weaponsmiths and weapon consumers alike please take a look at the following:
Weaponsmith Wiki
and let me know what you think, bear in mind, this is still work in progress, I have all the screenshots ready, but it takes quite a bit of time to go through each one and copy and arrange in the specific format that the website uses... I am hoping to have a finalized version by this weekend.
Since this is a wiki type site, you will be able to register and change the information on the website as needed. Please do not go in and change things just to make things difficult, if that happens I'll have no other option but to remove modification access from normal unverified users....
I hope you find this helpful, and as educational (in a SWG way)
enjoy

Nice idea though, good job.
Looks good now if you could get the max caps for each weapon inthere, there would be no need to go anywhere else.
Also you might want to add an asterisk or something else (besides color) to deferentiate the looted weapons, components and schematics. since the link colorschange once you've clicked on them.
Also for items like Krayt tissue.. you may want to make it a range like....
Min dmg:
Max dmg: +30 to +300
instead of....
Min dmg: +30
Max Dmg: +300

Since some people may be confused and think that Krayt tissue has a min dmg stat.Message Edited by Whrlwnd13 on 08-25-2005 08:48 AM
/wave hey man
I was actually trying to avoid listing the same stat under one line, perhaps I should just change the heading associated with it to something like
Range Min: +30
Range Max: +300

Also don't list stats on enhancers and parts like nightsister vibro units, there is a range, from the site it looks like every NS vibro unit has those stats.

I'll get that fixed up, the spelling mistake that is, on the other issue, I am still trying to find a good way to represent a range... the reason why I'd like the range there is due to alot of questions from the community 'is this good, or bad, or exceptional'...
ok then perhaps you could put it like this....
Krayt Tissue:
Min Damage (range) n/a
Max Dmg (range) +30 to +300
or you could do it like this....
Krayt Tissue:
Min Dmg: (minimum): n/a
Min Dmg (maximum): n/a
Max Dmg (minimum): +30
Max Dmg (maximum): +300
(although thiswayis kind of confusing)
My point is that if you don't specify that the range is on Max damage then people (who dont know) will be confused and think that there isa min damage stat on Krayt tissue.
