If a weapon on a vendor says that the stock is on the weapon, shouldn't you be able to see the stock when you examine the rifle?

ahhh, something I discovered the secrets of yesterday
First, SOME weapons will display the stock/barrel/scope that is used when making the gun. However, it has to be crafted to correctly, otherwise it'll just look standard.
First, when putting stocks/scopes/barrels into the weapon, the WS needs to pull it from the crate. Just double clicking on the crate won't work, they actually have to be out of the crate.
Second, (i'm not 100% on this) the weapon has to be made by hand and not pumped out by a factory.
I made several laser rifles yesterday that show the stock, barrel, and scope and they look *sweet*. They're on my vendor, but here's the weird thing: when examining them in the vendor window, they show up normal without the scope/stock/barrel, but if you buy it (or pull it) it'll show the extra components if it was crafted in the specified way.
Hope that helps, I can post a picture of what a laser rifle looks like with all the goodies on it if you like.

Here is the tricked out laser rifle, showing stock, barrel AND scope
Here is a laser rifle without all the extra goodness. Take note that this is the *exact* same laser rifle, except it's being viewed on my vendor and not showing the extra goodies. Blah.
Sorry if the images don't load... If they don't, is cause i'm hosting them on my own machine and either someone kicked the modem and I requested a new IP or I'm restarting my machine

Factory produced weapons will not have visible components, regardless if you pull the subcomps out of the crate or not
